Message from Founder
I began my career at the age of seventeen, choosing to enter the property industry instead of pursuing a university education much to my parents’ initial surprise, though fortunately not their disappointment. Having grown up in a family deeply involved in property, I was instilled early on with a strong work ethic, which made the transition into professional life both natural and rewarding.
To build my experience, I progressed from working within a small independent estate agency to a large corporate firm, giving me valuable insight into both the strengths and shortcomings of the industry. This journey has provided me with a well-rounded perspective on what clients truly need and deserve.
Over the past 30 years, I have worked across three distinct brands, culminating in the launch of Carters Estates. My vision was to create a modern estate agency free from the constraints of location, office politics, and corporate limitations. Based in Rayleigh, Essex, we collaborate with a carefully selected network of trusted agents across London and Kent.
I pride myself on being accessible and responsive, something my wife may say I take very seriously but I firmly believe that availability and clear communication are essential in building trust and delivering exceptional service. At Carters Estates, these values are at the core of everything we do.
